Introduction

This policy explains the personal information Rillic.com ("Rillic," "we," "our," or "us") handles when you use our marketplace for Rive animations and related digital assets.

Information we handle

• Account information: your name, email address, profile details, verification state, and account role. Authentication credentials are submitted to Firebase Authentication; Rillic does not store your password in its marketplace database.
• Seller application and product information: your application details, link to work, product descriptions, uploaded files, preview media, moderation state, and related records.
• Payments and seller onboarding: transaction, order, entitlement, refund, dispute, payout-readiness, and ledger records. Stripe receives payment-instrument, identity, bank, and tax-verification details through its hosted flows. Rillic receives the identifiers and status information needed to operate the marketplace, not your complete card or bank-account details.
• Security and service information: request and device signals used for session security, bounded error fingerprints, product view and download events, first-party web analytics, performance and Web Vitals measurements, and records needed to diagnose failures and prevent misuse. Client-error reports are designed to omit identity, tokens, query strings, raw stack traces, and provider payloads.
• Newsletter information: the email address you submit if you choose to receive product and creator updates.

How we use information

• Provide, secure, and maintain your account and sessions.
• Review seller applications and products, publish approved listings, and deliver purchased or downloaded products.
• Create and reconcile orders, entitlements, refunds, disputes, and seller payout status through Stripe.
• Diagnose failures, measure basic product usage, investigate abuse, and protect users and the Platform.
• Send newsletter updates when you have chosen to subscribe. You can ask us to stop future messages by contacting us.
• Comply with valid legal requests and applicable obligations.

Service providers and disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate the Platform, including to:

• Firebase for authentication, marketplace data, and file storage.
• Stripe for payment processing, seller verification, connected accounts, refunds, disputes, and payouts.
• Vercel for application hosting, operational logs, Web Analytics, Speed Insights, and real-user performance measurements.
• Professional advisers, authorities, or another business where required by law, necessary to protect legal rights or users, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale.

Public marketplace responses are designed not to expose account email addresses, payment identifiers, raw storage paths, access tokens, or private seller artifacts.

Cookies and local storage

The Platform uses an essential session cookie and browser storage for authentication, security, and short-lived seller draft recovery. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cookies for personalized recommendations. First-party product and performance measurement is not used for advertising. Blocking essential storage may prevent account and seller workflows from functioning.

Storage, retention, and security

We use encrypted network connections, access controls, server-side authorization, and restricted public projections to protect marketplace information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.

We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the Platform, preserve purchase and license records, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit history, or meet applicable obligations. Retention needs differ by record type and provider.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information. You may also withdraw from newsletter messages. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained for transactions, security, disputes, or legal obligations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Platform and its providers change. The current version and its last-updated date will be posted on this page. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a change takes effect.
